Drew's grandparents celebrated their 60th anniversary on the 8th. We had a wonderful meal and visit. It was so fun hearing about their wedding and the many years after. Grandma was 18 and grandpa was 19 when they married. Their love is an example for all of us!

Making serious progress!
Well the land clearing is underway. It is going super! I can't believe the progress Drew has made! The whole front area is ready to burn and today Drew worked mainly on the right side and the back (view area). This is all the progress in two days of excavator work.

A day at the science center
Yesterday we spent the day at the Pacific Science Center. All the kids had the day off. They had a blast. We watched two Imax films, Whales and Dinosaurs Alive (3D), and tried to see all the exhibits we could. We spent a total of 4+ hours and it was fun for all of us.
It is just about impossible to get the kids to all cooperate at once-take a look at Cohen!
Digging for dinosaur bones...this was one of the favorites!

Even the bigger boys enjoyed the toddler area.

Halloween fun
Today we had a fall fun day at school. Cohen and I spent the morning in Lachlan's class helping. They made harvest soup, which was both good and fun. Donna came to visit us a couple times too. Then we visited Ma and Papa for some trick-or-treating, and we will head to Great Grandma and Grandpa's and Grandma and Grandpa's this afternoon. After that, there is a costume parade in Sedro Woolley, and then we will trick-or-treat in town and then come home for meeting! Here are some pictures of our little goblins.

Getting big!
Well today marks the start of my 8th month of pregnancy. I really can't believe that the baby SHOULD be here in less than 2 months. Everything is going well, and he is very active. So far he is measuring right on, and I see my midwife on Tuesday for another measurement. I will have to be careful about my carb intake until the end, but she has told me to eat as much fat as I would like because I haven't gained much. These pictures were taken a few days ago. The funny one is of my shadow. I was out for my walk and was cracking up about my profile.

Other news: Drew has decided to do all the clearing himself. So Monday he is off and if we can get an excavator to rent he will start clearing because the weather looks like it might be nice. We are both excited to get this project done. It looks like it will probably take every weekend until the baby is born (and probably more time). It is such a muddy mess outside we are anxious to get it all cleaned up and new gravel in the driveway.
The boys are doing well. They are very excited about Halloween. Tonight is Pizza and Pumpkin night at school so we are going to do that. They get to dress up in their costumes. Lachlan lost his 2nd tooth Wednesday and looks like a little pumpkin himself! Cohen and I have been enjoying our mornings together so much!
I've been getting the baby's room all ready. I painted all the woodwork and now I just need to get Drew to put it up. I painted the letters of his name that will go over his crib (nope were not telling). I am getting excited to meet this little guy!
Have a great weekend!

Toothless in Sedro!
Thanks Everyone!
On Saturday Drew had a ton of help cutting and splitting wood. Brian and Mark, Terry, David and Dad all came to help. Drew rented a splitter and they got about 8-10 cord of wood cut! Thank you everyone for all your help...it was such a big relief for Drew! Thanks Nicole for going shopping with me!
